The two criminals that have commanded so much attention, Casslyn Welch and John McCluskey are back in police custody. People are making comparisons between the two and Bonnie and Clyde. They are running since escaping from an Arizona state prison about 3 weeks ago. The pair were suspected to are in Yellowstone National Park, and as far south as Arkansas. They were in an AZ State Park when a Park Ranger called in their stolen vehicle’s license plate number, leading to their apprehension.

A Forest Service Park Ranger was patrolling the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest. According to ABC, he saw an unattended fire and a suspiciously parked automobile. He called within the license plate. He alerted police when it turned up stolen. Soon afterward, SWAT showed up to take them into custody. That’s when they found out who they were. After their arrest, which went peacefully, John McCluskey told authorities if he had been able to get to his tent, he would have engaged in a shootout with the police. McCluskey and his cousin, Casslyn Welch, who’s also his fiancé, were taken peacefully.

McCluskey and Welch broke out of prison with Tracy Province and Daniel Renwick in tow. Province and Renwick were captured soon after, and McCluskey and Welch were spotted in Yellowstone National Park and in Butte, Mon. Renwick and Province were soon captured. For some reason, individuals idolize violent criminals. These two have been compared to Bonnie and Clyde. Clyde and Bonnie weren’t very romantic either; Clyde was gay, and they stole money from the people that cheered them before the FDIC existed. They belong in jail. There should be a medal for the Ranger who called them in. He should at least get a raise.
